July Office Hours, Scottsdale

on July 25 in Local Phoenix, Small Business | 2 comments

You’re invited to another office hours . . . this time in Scottsdale!  I’ll be at the old Thomson NETg stomping grounds (well, ONE of them anyway), Jolta Java, on Wed. 7/28 from 3:30-5:30.   To learn more about office hours, check out the blog post on time management.

As always, the agenda is open. Bring your burning questions about marketing, your professional expertise, or just a smile. I’m happy to discuss marketing strategies for small and microbusinesses, including the good, bad, and the ugly.  And I welcome the opportunity to learn about legal, human resources, accounting, technology, financial, sales, design, and business solutions that we can all benefit from across industries and business types!  (Note: This is an informal networking and discussion forum so please don’t come to peddle your wares or services.) This is an opportunity to get to know each other and broaden our perspectives and networks.

If you’d like some dedicated time to discuss an issue or your strategy, let me know and we can make that happen before, during, or after office hours.  You are welcome to download my strategic planning discussion aid, The 50 Questions, in advance.

Feel free to post below if you’re coming (and feel free to include your twitter handle) or tweet me so we can keep an eye out for you!

  1. I really like the idea of office hours like this since I first heard about Heather Herr doing them. Kudos! I’d stop by to chat but my task list is far too long today — maybe next time. I think I’ll check out your 50 Questions list though.

  2. Thanks Scott! I will keep you posted on the next time. I’m looking at Tempe or Chandler. I got the idea from the fab @KammieK but haven’t seen anything from your friend Heather. Will look into that!
Also, please don’t be afraid of the form; I’m not the kind of person who bugs you (or anyone) to death after you download the 50 Questions. If you say you’re just curious, I usually send a follow-up email after a week or so to ask if it was helpful and leave it at that. Alternatively, if you want to get the file and hate filling out the form, shoot me an email and I’ll sent it to you directly. That goes for anyone reading this. And if you do that I won’t add you to an email list unless you specify you want to be on it. That’s just how I roll!
